The editorial desk reads every message and replies to those that identify a specific page and a specific configuration. The postal address below is the registered editorial address of the desk.

Correspondence by post or telephone is accepted, but corrections that quote a page and a configuration are handled fastest by email, because the message can be attached to the page record directly.
The desk is not a support line for any product mentioned on this site. Telephone and postal correspondence should concern the pages themselves: a parameter that is described incorrectly, a section that is ambiguous, or a figure that no longer matches the interface it describes. Messages about the operation of a platform are answered by pointing to the vendor's own documentation, for the simple reason that only the vendor can answer them authoritatively.
02 What makes a report actionable
- The page address, so the record can be found.
- The sentence or parameter being questioned.
- The instrument, bar rule and session template in use.
- The observed behaviour, with the value that produced it.
- Where relevant, the cluster mode and any aggregation override.
The form on this page transmits nothing to the desk. It navigates to a confirmation page, and the message text stays in the browser. To reach the desk, use the email address or the postal address above; the privacy policy explains exactly what is and is not recorded.
A report that names the parameter and the observed value can be verified in an afternoon. A report that describes a general dissatisfaction with a result cannot be verified at all, because there is no configuration to reproduce. The distinction decides how quickly a message becomes a page revision, and it is the single most useful thing a correspondent can know about this desk.

04 Requests the desk does not handle
The desk documents configuration; it does not provide market commentary, does not evaluate instruments, and does not comment on the commercial terms of any platform. Messages asking for any of those will receive a short reply pointing to the relevant public documentation instead.
The desk also does not host files. If a message asks where a program can be obtained, the answer is that this site never distributes software and the question belongs with the platform vendor.
Three further categories are outside the desk's remit. It does not arbitrate disagreements between readers about what a chart showed; it does not reproduce vendor documentation; and it does not interpret the terms of any platform, since those terms are published by the platform itself. A short reply will say so, and where possible it will point to the page that already answers the underlying configuration question.
05 Editorial versus legal correspondence
Editorial questions belong with the desk. Questions about data handling, quotation rights or the accessibility of the site itself are answered through the same address but follow the published policies: the privacy policy, the terms of use, the cookie policy and the accessibility statement. The independence notice is on the disclaimer page.
If a message concerns more than one page, list the pages in the order of importance rather than summarising them in one paragraph. The record is kept per page, and a message that maps cleanly onto page names is filed and answered as several separate corrections, each of which can be verified on its own.
