Cookie and Local Storage Policy for the ATAS Reference

Independent technical documentation and software configuration guide. Not affiliated with ATAS or OrderFlow Trading. No software downloads hosted. For educational data-visualization purposes only; no financial or brokerage services provided.

This site sets no cookies and writes nothing to browser storage. This page documents that statement so that the claim can be checked against the pages themselves.

01 What is stored when you read a page

Nothing. Each page is a static document loaded with one stylesheet and a small inline-drawn icon. There is no script on any page, therefore there is no mechanism on the page that could write a cookie or a storage entry, and no identifier that could persist between visits.

02 Browser cache is not tracking

A browser may keep a copy of a page and of the stylesheet so that a second visit loads faster. That copy sits on your own device, is not sent to the desk, and can be cleared at any time through the browser's own settings. It carries no identifier and cannot be used to recognise a reader across sites.

The server log described in the privacy policy is written by the hosting operator for operational reasons. It is not a cookie, it does not follow a reader to other sites, and it is not used here for any analytical purpose.

03 Why no consent banner is present

A consent banner exists to obtain permission before storing something on a reader's device. Since nothing is stored, there is nothing to ask about. Adding a banner that obtained consent for an empty list would be misleading, so the site does not carry one.

If that ever changes

Should a future revision ever add a mechanism that stores data on a reader's device, this page changes first and the change is noted in the revision tag in the site header. The site is built without scripts precisely so that this page can remain short.

04 Controls available to you

  1. Clear the browser cache for this domain to remove cached copies of the pages.
  2. Block third-party content by default; nothing on these pages depends on it.
  3. Disable scripts entirely; every page remains fully readable because no page uses any.
  4. Use a private browsing window; the pages behave identically and leave nothing behind on your device.

None of these steps is required to read the site, and none of them will change what appears on a page. They are listed because readers ask how a static document behaves when a browser is configured strictly, and the honest answer is that strict configuration is invisible here: there is no script to block, no third-party frame to reject and no storage request that a strict setting could deny.
